Find the right fridge water filter, and check whether the cheap one is actually certified.
Look up a filter part number or your fridge's model number. Each page shows which fridges the manufacturer says it fits, whether the filter has a chip, and what the certification listings actually say, with a link to every source.

How this site works
- Manufacturer sources only for fit. A fridge model is listed for a filter only when the manufacturer's own page, manual or parts lookup names it.
- Certification from the listing, not the box. Labels can say "tested to" or "meets" a standard. We link to the certifier's live listing so you can check it yourself.
- Dated and cited. Every page shows the date we last checked it, and every claim links to a source.
